He also advised prominent individuals in high profile shareholders’ disputes, family disputes and defamation proceedings. He assisted international brands in franchise and licence disputes as well as intellectual property rights enforcement and litigations. He also advises high net worth individuals and families in cross border assets acquisition and succession planning. His experience in regulatory compliance includes food and drug regulations, data protection, privacy laws, trade promotion regulations, pyramid selling prohibition laws and SFC regulations.

• Represented founder of a famous mainland Chinese pharmaceutical brand in a dispute with its adviser concerning the pre-IPO corporate restructuring and secure favourable judgment for recovery of shares transferred to the adviser
• Represented a settlor of a discretionary family trust who is a co-founder of a leading property company against the trustee for failure to comply with the letter of wishes, breach of duties and conflict of interest
• Represent a prominent individual to pursue his claims exceeding HKD180 million against a securities house and the management with respect to share repurchase agreement
• Counsel to a famous luxury brand in a civil litigation and series of administrative proceedings in mainland China against a trademark squatter syndicate registering and using the client’s mainland Chinese name and similar logos to sell knockoff across multiple cities in mainland China
• Counsel to a world leading perfume and cosmetic brand in pursuing anti-unfair competition claims in mainland China against another leading cosmetic brand based on use of similar product names and promotional materials
• Advised a trade association on the proposed amendments of Privacy (Personal Data) Ordinance and Pyramid Selling Prohibition Ordinance, and prepared position paper for submissions to the HKSAR Government
• Advised on high profile matrimonial proceedings involving claims for adding back of non-marital expenses based on financial misconduct and claw back provision based on redevelopment value of property
• Advise trustee of a major German family discretionary trust on distribution of trust properties in different jurisdictions to settlor's children and unmarried spouses on passing of the settlor
• Advise on equitable distribution of antiques collection in divorce proceedings
